Join the New Heights Dance Company Family
We are excited to welcome dancers to auditions for the 2026–2027 New Heights Dance Company Competitive Season! Whether your dancer is new to competitive dance or has years of experience, we invite dancers ages 7–18 to audition and discover all that New Heights has to offer.
At New Heights Dance Company, we believe every dancer deserves the opportunity to grow in a positive, encouraging environment. We do not hold cuts. Auditions are used to determine team placement, dance styles, and the program that best fits each dancer's age, experience, and skill level.

During this meeting, we'll discuss our 2026–2027 competitive programs, season expectations, tuition and fees, competition opportunities, and answer any questions you may have.

Welcoming Ages: 7–18
What to Expect
During auditions, dancers will participate in a warm-up, technique exercises, across-the-floor progressions, and short combinations. Our evaluation panel will assess each dancer's technique, performance quality, musicality, work ethic, and overall readiness
What to Wear-
Please wear comfortable all black dance attire that allows for movement.
Recommended attire includes:
Black dancewear or athletic clothing
Hair secured away from the face
Jazz shoes, lyrical shoes, or athletic sneakers (if available)

Competition Attendance Policy
At New Heights Dance Company, we believe it takes a village to compete. Every dancer plays an important role in the success of their team. Dancers are expected to attend all competitions included in their selected program. Please carefully consider your family's availability and commitment before choosing the Rising Stars or Shooting Stars program.
